Today, Apollo filed counterclaims in our litigation with ZoomInfo. 

When actions undermine fair competition, misrepresent our business, and mislead customers, we believe we have a responsibility to respond on behalf of our company and our customers.

This issue is bigger than Apollo. At its core, our legal response is about ensuring fair competition across the sales intelligence market, and protecting customers’ ability to choose products based on merit, value and innovation.

As we outlined in our public filings, we allege that ZoomInfo has engaged in a series of anticompetitive tactics designed to preserve legacy market dominance. These include:

  • Acquiring competitors to reduce market choice
  • Asserting patents it doesn’t even appear to practice to weaponize them
  • Spreading misinformation about rival businesses to keep customers
  • Enforcing restrictive contract provisions that limit customer mobility and choice

Ultimately, Apollo’s counterclaims seek to ensure a marketplace enabling consumers to choose the best product for their needs, and where competition is driven by building better technology—not by litigation tactics or contractual traps.
